Go Green with Eco-friendly Imprinted Promotional Items

June 18, 2009 at 8:12 pm (Uncategorized)

Environmentally aware imprinted promotional items send an ideal message to prospective, as well as established customers for your business.  The primary message is that your company is making a difference with the environment.  This is a strong message that will have nothing but positive returns.  It is an innovative stand that puts your business in a class by itself.  With a positive message instilled in an imprinted promotional item, the classic value of name brand exposure is infused with an added ingredient to ensure success.  There are four types of eco-friendly promotional items available:  Energy friendly, biodegradable, corn plastic and organic items.

Energy friendly and hand-powered emergency imprinted promotional items offer both utility and environmental awareness that pack a powerful punch when it comes to people remembering your business.  Any time of the year, these items are always in season.  Energized by either the sun or by manually winding them, they reduce the use of batteries, not only saving money, but also the environment. Calculators, key lights, and flashlights are just a few of the products available.  One item in particular will be the talk of everyone’s office; an imprinted, water-powered clock.

Biodegradable imprinted promotional items will put a smile on any prospective client’s face when they realize that the product is making a difference for the future.  Golf tees, pens and carry bags are just a few of the items that are available.  One of the more unique materials is bamboo, which can be used for key chains, clips and picture frames.

Corn plastic is a material that offers durability without petroleum.  Corn plastic takes less time to biodegrade and requires a smaller amount of fossil fuel to create.  Corn plastic can be used to create pens, mugs, key chains and ice scrapers.

Organic imprinted promotional items are a creative way to promote your business and the environment.  Shopping bags, baseball caps and shirts are a few of the organic items that are offered to show that your business cares about the future of the planet.

An evolving global culture demands that concern and care are placed onto the earth’s future.  By showing that your business is aware of the issues that face the environment, your business represents higher standards to the public and the community.  Since the price range is comparable, sometimes less, then it would only make sense to invest in an eco-friendly item.

Top 10 Reasons To Work With A MO Graphics Promotional Consultant

June 9, 2009 at 3:10 pm (Uncategorized)

Reason #1: Consultants are the experts in their field. When you’re sick, you want a doctor who has the specialization and training to help you. There’s no need to spend all your time on the Internet or searching through catalogs. Your promotional products consultant will come to you—like a doctor who makes house calls!

Reason #2: Good consultants go beyond just selling products. Successful promotional campaigns don’t happen by chance. To realize goals, promotional products programs must be carefully planned, taking into consideration the audience, budget and, of course, the ultimate result to be gained. While it’s true that you can buy a product anywhere, an experienced consultant can help you solve problems, plan a program and get results.

Reason #3: Professional consultants have access to vast product research resources, including an extensive database which contains more than 500,000 products. Yes, you can find a mug online, but a consultant can find hundreds of mugs, in a multitude of colors, sizes, shapes, materials, designs, etc. Have you saved money if you get the mugs and they are not the right color? Is it worth the extra savings if you get the mugs and they are so breakable due to inferior materials that they are virtually unusable?

Reason #4: Consultants are in tune with the trends, including hot items and the newest products and processes. A qualified consultant can add creativity, innovation and imagination to your overall program to achieve your goals. Many online services show you the products they want to sell; a qualified consultant will listen to what you want and help you find the right product for your needs. And a consultant can provide tangible samples that appeal to your senses: taste, touch and feel!

Reason #5: Your consultant is more than just a salesperson. Chances are you will buy promotional products more than once in your life. Once a company uses a consultant, that relationship often continues for years—and even decades. Your promotional products consultant is someone with whom you have worked, someone you know and someone you trust. In many cases, companies use the consultant as part of the creative team, even including him or her in marketing meetings.

Reason #6: Personalized service is the role of a consultant. When going online, your selection is what the internet company determines to make available. When you work with a consultant, your selection is determined by your needs and goals, enhanced by the experience, creativity and recommendations of that consultant who has your best interests at heart. Online, you’re a faceless, nameless buyer. With a consultant, you’re a client with your own personal shopper, receiving service along with ideas and prices. When you order online, who monitors your order and your deadline? Your consultant has your interests in mind. Seldom do you receive that kind of personalized, “hand-holding” customer service from an unknown online company.

Reason #7: Industry consultants can offer experienced advice on how (and IF) to imprint items. You may have found the perfect key chain, but will your logo imprint on it? Will it be recognizable? Some things don’t work, or there might be something else that will work better. A qualified promotional products consultant can explain to you the best printing process for your program, your imprint and the product you’ve chosen.

Reason #8: Trained consultants can save you money in the long run. Many times, a price you see in a generic catalog or on the internet does not cover many “hidden” costs involved—set up, imprint duplication, shipping, etc. A consultant can help you avoid unexpected and unbudgeted costs by quoting the total price up-front.

Reason #9: Consultants will work with you to get your artwork imprinted properly. Say you want your company’s logo embroidered on a golf shirt. How do you ensure it will be done properly, and with the correct colors? A trained consultant can work with you to insure accurate transfer of your artwork, including correct fonts, size, spacing and many other important factors. And your consultant’s commitment to quality customer service will guarantee your satisfaction with the finished product.

Reason #10: Professional promotional products consultants can assist you in developing a workable distribution plan for your products. Distribution of a promotional product is as important as the item itself. Research shows that a carefully executed distribution plan significantly increases the effectiveness of promotional products. But what if the cost of distributing your product is more than the product and more than your expected ROI (return on investment)? A consultant can help you avoid unexpected problems like this.

Promote your business 365 days a year – Let MO Graphics show you how

May 7, 2009 at 8:47 pm (Uncategorized)

MO Graphics can help you advertise your company on your prospect’s desk, wall, or in their briefcase?

Calendars are a superb promotion that communicates all year long, costing you fractions of a penny per view. More than 83% of businesses purchase products and services from those who supplied them with a calendar.
Most people use at least two calendars and the selection is enormous. You can choose a computer-related calendar for the monitor, keyboard, or mouse pad. You might want to also consider old stand-bys such as magnet, hanging, flip, pocket, and desk pad varieties.

There are many ways to generate brand awareness and new business with the use of calendars. When a farming equipment dealer mailed “Vintage Tractors” calendars to prospects with an invitation to a spring open house, he doubled attendance from the previous year!

Pocket planners were used as year-end gifts for one health-insurance provider. Agents handed them out to clients and potential accounts in imprinted gift boxes. The program built tremendous goodwill and landed 55 new members.

A bank wanted to show its interest in the community, so it used photos of local historic sites. A carpet manufacturer had a picture made of the entire office staff, so customers could visualize who they were talking with. Other firms utilized designs which included motivational quotes, important meeting dates, safety reminders, and company mission statements.

Advertising with calendars is effective because they are appreciated and needed by everyone. A calendar is personal and becomes a part of our daily routine. Let MO Graphics help you find the perfect calendar and plan for your business!

Did you know?

  • 94% of recipients remember the
    advertising message on their calendar.
  • The average person looks at a calendar
10 times a day or 2,500 times per year!
  • The cost per exposure of a $5 calendar is $0.02 cents.

Tradeshow 2009

March 27, 2009 at 10:13 pm (Uncategorized)

Springtime means tradeshows! Tradeshows are a great way to market and launch your product or service and increase the visibility of your company.

To ensure a successful tradeshow presence, be sure to follow these best practices before, during and after the show.

Before the Show

1. Develop your message and collateral.

Once you’ve decided on which tradeshows you’ll attend, develop your message, including a strong call to action. Make sure the message and the call to action are prominent across your marketing collateral, promotional campaigns and signage.

Then, get the word out! Use direct mail or direct e-mail marketing, web ads and banners, viral marketing videos—any advertisement that will generate traffic to the tradeshow and your booth.

2. Establish your goals.

Everything you do or say at the show should help you achieve these goals. Goals could include:

· Getting as many leads as possible

· Arranging future informational meetings/demonstrations

· Creating a list of competitors

3. Design and create your booth.

Make sure you consider everything that you’ll need to do to make sure things run smoothly in your booth. Consider your electricity needs, signage locations, counter and storage space, and demonstration locations.

At the Show

1. Set up the booth.

If you have any staff on hand to help with your booth, make sure everyone is on the same page. Consider developing a FAQ document so every person in your booth can answer questions about your product or service.

2. Use incentives.

Everyone loves a freebie! Incentives are great ways to not only draw people to your booth, but also spread the word about your company. From high-end pieces to eye-catching “trinkets”, incentives are worth the investment.

After the Show

1. Follow up on leads.

Contact your sales leads as soon as possible. Delaying this step can impact your bottom line. Consider sending a postcard or thank you note to everyone who came to your booth and left their contact information. Enter information into your database and start prep for your next show or event!
